Who we are
We are a traditional mixed farm and all our cattle and sheep are 100% grass fed. Our livestock graze organic pasture and we work with nature whilst farming. Johnson's farm shop was born from the enthusiasm to produce quality grass fed meat direct from the farm. Our niche self service farm shop is open 8am-8pm every day. As well as our grass fed meat we also sell lots of other produce from the farm.
We have around 100 cows, 400 ewes as well as pigs, chickens, geese, farm dogs and cats. We grow lots of grass to feed our livestock as well as oats and wheat.
Our background and philosophy
We are a husband and wife team, we have 4 children and we love our life on the farm. We started farming with a few sheep and renting grazing, we soon found we loved it and continued to grow our business and life around the farm.
